Basic Function of a Granite Polisher

The basic function of a Granite Polisher is to complete the final touch-up of jobs coming out of production for make-ready installation.  

Salary Range For Granite Polisher

25th Percentile

$35,360

New to the role, with little or no experience; requires more than casual instruction or supervision to perform day-to-day duties

50th Percentile

$39,520

Has the experience to consistently perform core responsibilities without direct supervision; very comfortable with processes and subject matter associated with the role

75th Percentile

$45,760

Job Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete final touch-up of jobs coming out of production for make-ready installation.  

  • Keep work area and tools clean. 

  • Work efficiently to help attain goals of 425 square feet within an eight-hour shift.

  • Report job numbers with square footage, sink cutouts – polished and unpolished, edge work, and any other information necessary to complete daily reports.

  • Report any downtime with a reason.

  • Send to Quality Control each piece worked.

Education

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Experience

  • One to two years of related experience and/or training.

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
